Aimee Ortiz is the Research Support Specialist at the Comprehensive Center for Brain Health. Her Background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Communication and over seven years in the healthcare field.  

Andrea Buehler, APRN, FNP-BC graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004 and practiced as a Registered Nurse at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital for 12 years. While working at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Andrea cared for pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders. She served as a charge nurse and team leader as well as a preceptor to new and experienced nurses. Andrea earned a Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 from Florida Atlantic University and practiced as an Advanced Practice Nurse caring for adult/geriatric patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes. While working as an Advanced Practice Nurse, Andrea has cared for patients with various acute and chronic conditions including neurodegenerative disorders. Her current goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of people experiencing cognitive impairment through research and education.

Willman Jiménez is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Comprehensive Center for Brain Health at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Willman received his medical degree from Universidad de Guayaquil in Ecuador. 

While in Ecuador, Mr. Jimenez worked at Hospital General de Babahoyo and volunteered at Centro de Salud Maternal Infantil Enrique Ponce Luque where he did home visits for diabetics, caring for burn and bedridden patients. 

Willman’s personal interests include practicing mindfulness and spending time outdoors with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Valentina.
