Rebecca is a PhD candidate in Education Curriculum and Instruction at the University of South Florida. Her research focuses on integrating creative arts within health education and aligning Arts in Health frameworks with community health workforce competencies through continuing education development. She has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).

Rebecca joined the Comprehensive Center for Brain Health at the University of Miami in 2022 as Outreach Coordinator and launched the CCBH creative arts outreach program to provide evidence-based arts engagement to older adults in Palm Beach and Broward counties. She continues to implement CCBH’s arts engagement workshops and programs and assists with planning education events and conferences. She also develops and disseminates print and digital communications and materials to expand public awareness and participation in CCBH’s educational events, outreach activities, research opportunities, and clinical care services.
