Simone Camacho is a Research Associate at the Comprehensive Center for Brain Health at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Being a psychometrist and research assistant, she has experience in administering and scoring neuropsychological and cognitive batteries and psychiatric assessments in both a clinical and research setting. She aspires to continue learning and gaining experience to pursue a PhD in Clinical or Neuropsychology. 

Simone’s research interests include the neurobiological and neuropathological underpinnings of progressive neuropsychiatric conditions and specific biomarkers detection in neurodegenerative disorders and severe mental illnesses.
