Dr. Valerie Daniel is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Comprehensive Center for Brain Health (CCBH) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She received her PhD in Public Health with a concentration in Health Disparities from Florida International University. She has over 8 years of experience in the public health research field working with underserved communities in South Florida. She obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Miami. Dr. Daniel focuses her research interest on health disparities, minority health, infectious diseases, and stigma affecting African Americans and Afro-Caribbeans.
